DisplaySweet’s Account Manager, Liam Sheehy is no stranger to the Western Australian property industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.

Having been in the real estate business for over a decade, Liam is DisplaySweet’s newest team member as the company expands to Australia’s West Coast due to significant demand from developers looking to launch their projects in 2022. Q1: How did you start out your career in property?

I was fortunate enough to start my career in property over 10 years ago with realestate.com.au. During the 5 years I was there, I worked with a multitude of clients from sales agents to marketers to developers across Western Australia.

I learnt how to market property and create great experiences for property buyers, something that I’m passionate about and that I think will help in my role at DisplaySweet.

Q2: How do you think the WA property market will perform in 2022?

Last year during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns across the country, Western Australia’s property market really excelled. This has continued into the start of 2022 and I’m excited to see it continuing to thrive, I think it will stay that way throughout the rest of the year.

There were some really exciting projects launched last year, which have sold incredibly well and already started construction.

WA has a great pipeline of more exciting projects coming to market this year, and DisplaySweet is already working with proptech giants in the state including Blackburne, Mirvac, Sirona Capital, Mustera Property Group, Parcel Property and Edge Living, with more to come.

Q3: What do you love about property, and what made you want to take a role with DisplaySweet?

I really enjoy the property journey from a developers’ initial concept, right through to bringing it to market and seeing buyers eventually living in the space that was created.

My new role here at DisplaySweet combines two passions of mine: property and digital, so proptech was a natural fit for me. Being a market leading company, it’s exciting to have joined DisplaySweet and work with some great developers here in Western Australia.
